Adult Psycho-diagnostic Assessment

What is a Targeted Adult Psycho-diagnostic Assessment?

If you are looking for clarity regarding your mental health, our targeted assessments provide a streamlined, evidence-based way to understand how your mind works. We focus primarily on identifying ADHD, anxiety, and depression in adults.

What Do We Evaluate?

Our assessments are designed to answer your specific questions about:

Attention & Executive Functioning:

Understanding your focus, cognitive organization, and potential ADHD symptoms.

Mood & Anxiety

Clarifying experiences related to generalized anxiety, panic, OCD, or depressive symptoms.

Social & Emotional Well-being

Identifying your current coping strategies, stress tolerance, and emotional regulation.

Why Consider an Assessment?

Gaining a clearer picture of your mental health can be empowering. Our process helps you:

  1. Identify Core Patterns: Recognize your personal strengths and the specific challenges that need support.

  2. Guide Your Next Steps: Receive actionable recommendations to help you navigate your daily life, career, and relationships.

  3. Access Accommodations: Obtain the documentation needed for support services in workplaces, colleges, or universities.

  4. Coordinate Your Care: Provide your doctor or therapist with clear, professional strategies to better support your treatment.

How Does the Process Work?

We tailor every assessment to your unique needs. Our standard process includes:

  1. Intake Meeting (1–1.5 hours): A clinical interview to discuss your history and current goals.

  2. Testing Sessions (1–2 hours): Completion of standardized measures and questionnaires.

  3. Analysis & Reporting (2–3 hours): Our clinician reviews your data and drafts a comprehensive summary.

  4. Feedback Meeting (1–1.5 hours): We meet to review your results, discuss diagnoses, and plan your next steps.

At the end of this process, you will receive a concise, two-to-three-page summary letter outlining key findings and tailored recommendations.

Important Information

  • Customized Care: If your needs are more complex, we may recommend a more comprehensive evaluation. Any adjustments to the scope or cost will be discussed and agreed upon before we begin.

  • Insurance Coverage: Many extended health insurance plans cover psychological services. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage for "psychological assessments."
