Classic Anti-Bullying Literature Bullying at School: What We Know and What We Can Do presents the results of Dr. Dan Olweus's pioneering research on bullying in schools, based on large-scale studies in Scandinavia conducted in the 1970s and 80s. The book emphasizes the importance of adult intervention and outlines a whole-school approach that has since influenced anti-bullying efforts around the world. Podcast My Kid is Being Bullied. What Should I Do? This episode explores how to support a middle school child who is being bullied. Dr. Lisa explains the difference between bullying and conflict, why kids bully, and the emotional impact on children. She outlines when and how adults should step in without escalating the situation and offers practical, step-by-step guidance. The discussion also covers what adults can do to support children effectively and what strategies are truly helpful in preventing bullying.
